Kevin Garcia is an acclaimed drummer, percussionist, composer, arranger, producer, and educator living in Brooklyn, NY.

Kevin has worked closely with professional dance companies for over 20 years as a musician, accompanist, and composer. He has worked with Merce Cunningham and MCDF, Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, Paul Taylor, Mark Morris, Matthew Bourne's New Adventures, Doug Varone, Sean Curran, David Dorfman, Trisha Brown, Donald McKayle, Saeko Ichinohe, Milton Meyers, Kevin Wynn, Mary Cochran, Jeff and Yukie Moen, and Anita Cheng.

Kevin accompanies professional classes at Steps On Broadway, Peridance, Limon, The Joffrey Ballet, Harkness Dance, and at Columbia University-Barnard College (2003 composer in residence), Julliard, NYU, Hunter College, and Marymount University.

Kevin was the Music Director for Gil Stroming's Jump Convention and Break The Floor.

Kevin is working on the Broadway Musical Fun Home this Spring.

Music For Enophiles will be back at Bowery Electric on May 4th. 

Kevin will be playing with James Barry on May 11th at the Way Station in Brooklyn.

Jose Llana's record release at Joe's Pub is on May 16.

Kevin will be playing with The Quinns at Rockwood on May 23rd.

Gato Loco is playing Barbes on June 2nd.

Hazmat Modine is playing Terra Blues on May 21st, Le Poisson Rouge on June 4th, Terra Blues on June 11th, and touring Europe for 5 weeks June 14th to July 16th hitting Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Slovenia.
